Who is the creator of DABA courses?

She is a graduate of Towson University in Towson, Maryland, where she earned her bachelor's and master’s degree in Women & Gender Studies with a concentration in social policy and leadership.

What makes you different from other bullying and diversity coaches?
I don’t deliver information strictly from research or academic standpoint. I deliver information from actual experiences as a parent, as an advocate for kids, and as an ally to schools.

My focus is also on helping all parties involved to include the bully because leaving the bully out does a disservice to that child, the victim, and everyone else.

Do you offer group or one-to-one coaching?

Both are available. You may opt to create your own group made up of family members willing to learn together.

Another option for group coaching is to join a group of other adults.

May I get a refund for this course?

Unfortunately, all sales are final. However, a credit may be provided to be used for a different DABA product or coaching.

Do you work with small budgets?

Absolutely. You can book an appointment (here) to discuss your needs so that we can give value to your community by working together.

What do you love most about what you do?
The connections to parents who have been through the same or similar experiences as I have and being able to help them is what I love most.

Seeing the relief in them and listening to that lighter weight in their voices after completing my training or after a consultation with me is what makes me love my work even more.

What type of personalities do you work best with and what is expected of me?
The Diversity & Anti-Bullying Academy (DABA) workshops, products, and programs were created for people who are absolutely excited and serious about educating themselves in areas more than bullying and who want to be an advocate for kids whether they are family members, students, or random kids that need help.

Being a passionate advocate and sharer of knowledge type of person myself, I’m known to work best with other Mama bears and Papa Bears who know how to stay level-headed when chaos strikes and does the responsible thing to provide the best help possible to kids no matter if you are super upset that a child has been hurt in any way.

What type of professionals are your programs NOT going to work?
Please know I’m very selective in who I work with and I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my programs and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)

DABA courses, products, and coaching programs are NOT for those who are not willing to spend at least one hour per week educating themselves.

It is also NOT for people who are not open-minded about new ideas and methods of communication with kids, nor is it for people who DO NOT have the resources to invest in DABA.
